Public Access to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is finally here! I’m so thankful I got to shop early access, and honestly I would highly recommend it to anyone. You get first dibs to all of the goods, and you just need to have a Nordstrom’s credit card. Personally, having multiple credit cards stresses me out. But the best part is, you don’t have to use your card to shop early access! When you get approved for the card it is automatically linked to your online account. I applied for the card on a Monday, got approved and was able to shop early access the following Thursday! The card was linked to my account, but I didn’t have to use it on my purchases to shop early access! Great news for those of us who worry about our credit scores!
Now onto the goods! All of these items were available when I shopped early access, but some have since sold out. I will still provide links when I can to the sold out items (in case you want to creep on them like I am hoping they restock), but I will also try to include similar sale items as well. Fingers crossed they’ll restock the sold out stuff, but there’s still plenty of cute finds out there even if they don’t!
**For sizing: I am 5’4.5″ and weigh roughly 125lbs.
Biker Chic
SO sad this jacket is sold out, because it is truly gorgeous! I honestly had a hard time buying it, because I hate getting things I don’t wear that often. But when I finally tried it on I fell in love. It fits so well, and I love the shape of the shoulders! Plus it’s super soft! The color is so beautiful, but thankfully they still have (basically) the same jacket in stock, in both black and pine green. I tried on the black one today and it fits like the metallic jacket does! Since the top and jeans are also sold out I’ve linked alternate options for those as well! I am a size small in the jacket and top and 26/27 in jeans.
Polka Dots and Frills
Wasn’t crazy about this blouse at first, but then it grew on me. You definitely have to play with the sleeves to help make them look more flattering. I love the high collar on it! I can easily dress it up and wear it to work, a night out, or even dress it down to make it more casual! I am a size 6 in Topshop clothes.
Two-toned
This top looks super cute in photos, but it ended up in my return pile. It looked weird how the black material was tight, but then the white material just hung on me. The white part of the sleeves puffed out which looked weird around my elbows because the black part fit pretty snug. Overall, this top was cute, it just wasn’t for me. I also had found some items that I loved at the sale and since I couldn’t afford to keep everything, some items had to go! Again, it looked super cute in pictures, but in person it just looked boxy and didn’t fit my shape at all! I am wearing a size small in this photo.
Bell Sleeves
This is one of my top 3 finds from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and it was $30 off! I could tell bell sleeves are going to be so in this fall judging by how many sale items there were featuring bell sleeves! I find this jacket to be extremely flattering, I especially love the shoulders! In this photo I made it a little bit more trendy and casual by pairing it with ripped jeans, but you could easily wear it to work too! I (obviously) love versatile pieces and I was so excited to find this jacket! I am a size 6 in the jacket and a size small in the top.
Long Cardi
I ended up returning this cardigan, but I still really liked it! I had a few cardigans similar to it and I was hoping it wouldn’t be as long as it was. But that being said, it was still really comfy and if you like longer cardigans I would highly recommend it! I definitely couldn’t keep everything I bought online from the sale this year, but I would’ve kept it if I could! I just didn’t see myself wearing it as much as some of the other items I got! I am wearing a size small in this cardigan and top as well.
Fun and Feminine
This top is so cute and I’ve already found so many cute outfits to pair it with! You’ll see another post soon of how I wore this top to a baby shower I went to! It’s trendy but easy to pair things with. I pretty much love everything from the ASTR brand, their clothes have such a feminine and elegant feel to them! It comes in a beautiful blush color too, and I am wearing a size small.
